These instructions describe how to install the AD8372_0p0p0 software GUI, as well as the Cypress Generic USB driver, onto a Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 PC running a 32bit OS.

1. If it is plugged in, unplug the RFG USB adapter from the PC.

2. Unzip the file AD8372_0p0p0_install.zip. Within the .zip file is an executable named AD8370_0p0p0_Installer.exe. Run this .exe file

An icon should appear on your desktop with the ADI logo, entitled AD8372_0p0p0.

3. Once the installer is finished, you will need to install the driver. Plug the RFG USB adapter into the PC using a USB cable. In either XP or Vista, right click on My Computer and then select Properties. In Vista, you then select the Device Manager option. In XP, you select the hardware tab and then Device Manager. In Device Manager, select the last category, Universal Serial Bus Controllers. There will be an entry that either has a yellow flag on it (for unknown device) or it will say ADF4xxx USB Driver (if you have installed the previous ADI USB software). Right
click on this device and select 'update driver'. Browse to select the directory 'C:\Program Files\AD8372_Evaluation_0p0p0'. Click on 'Next' and Windows
should complete the driver installation.
